A Day in the Life
Open from 7.15am to 6pm; our day routine is much like it is for most families. With extra naps and adjusted meal times for babies and children still needing their own pattern followed.
We have our own centre kitchen and cook ensuring the children are well fed with home cooked meals and snack throughout the day.
The work that takes place in our classrooms shares the richness in the diversity of our children, their families and our teachers. We are home to a multi-ethnic and cultural community. We bring together our uniqueness and lift up our children’s mana, respect and dignity, because this is the treasure that they share with us.
Annual rituals and intentional learning are a part of our regular learning through play curriculum. Gardening is important to us, and every month we have a special event or celebration to support a national event taking place in the community. We celebrate Matariki, different language weeks and as ANZAC day is special to Aotearoa, the centre always commemorates this day by providing a hot beverage and baked goodies to the parents and families.
We look forward to you joining us on our learning journey.
