Our little boy started at Childhood Concepts 5 months ago after starting daycare in Australia. He has settled in so well and loves his days there! The teachers are all lovely and friendly and we feel so comfortable leaving him there each day. Would definitely recommend to others.Lisa

We could not recommend Childhood Concepts Upper Hutt highly enough. Two of our kids are currently attending and our oldest attended prior to starting school.
The staff are warm and friendly and so wonderful with the children. They really recognise how every child and family are different and work with you to deliver the best learning environment to suit your child.Gina

As first-time parents, we were anxious about the concept of daycare. We did a lot of homework before settling on Early Childhood Concepts. From the beginning, our daughter thoroughly enjoyed her time at the centre — there is nothing more comforting than knowing your child is happy and content.Terry & Liss

The teachers are always ready with positive feedback to help with you and your child, for your child's personal development at every stage of their life, i have personally learnt a lot about the best ways to tackle different situations with my girl, and i love the way daycare incorporates Rhea's home life into daycare, through language, pictures and feedback from parents on a regular basis.
Parents are also encouraged to get to know each other through events such as the fish n chip nights/take away evenings and matariki celebrations"Simran

Although our children are only part time, the staff always take the time to say hello and give a little feedback about the kids day at drop offs and pick ups. A lot of time and effort goes into all of the learning stories we have received in terms of the kids, and you can see how the centre philosophy is used in day to day activities. They have also started using an online portal and the Facebook page more which is great for a quick and easy way to communicate with the centre and see what the kids are up to.Gina

They say that one of the hardest things in life is to trust someone - you first need to meet someone, get to know them and finally get to trust them.
But what do you do when you don't have those possibilities? For most parents, choosing a daycare is based on a few steps: location, facilities, reviews, ERO report (ha!) and finally length of waitlist. This, of course, will include a visit to get a feel for the center. But this is where it ends, and the question remains, do you trust them enough to leave your most precious thing in life?
It took my husband and I two days to realize that our son was in good hands - he was all smiles every afternoon and couldn't wait to go through the door in the mornings to start playing with his favorite teachers! I knew it straight away, he was happy!
My son has been at the same center since he was 7 months. During this two years, my son has thrived in every way possible, he has built a great relationship with his teachers and even greater friendships. He has grown to be a confident, active and inquisitive boy.
We feel we are one of the lucky parents who could get to trust a center and its teachers and most importantly that they delivered what they promised. For this and for everything else that we can't put in words, thank you.Rocio M. Monge
